This multimedia exhibition features selections from several ongoing series. In “Wish”, Krensky presents wands made from detritus gathered along beaches, mountains, and streets. “Keys to Open the Beginning Before the End” is a series of antique skeleton keys paired with organic fragments, transformed through electroplating. Material will debut a new video from Krensky’s “Dispatch from Solitude” performance series. Also featured is “Store of Wishes”, objects collected or created over decades across continents. It merges wonder with intention—offering space to hold wishes and a marketplace to acquire them.
Beth Krensky is a Utah-based artist exploring the borderlands between spirit and matter. A Distinguished Professor of Art Teaching at the University of Utah, she trained at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and MIT’s Center for Advanced Visual Studies.
