Join American artist Harmony Hammond for the opening reception of Desire, a solo exhibition at Tamarind Institute featuring the American artist’s new body of work made over her 2024 Frederick Hammersley Artist Residency at Tamarind. For the first time, the collection of torn, pierced, PVA-coated and layered works on paper appears together following select works’ debut at The Armory Show 2025, including a never-before-exhibited triptych titled Three Sheets of Red Drops (2024) that Hammond created by punching holes in transparent film on top of an aluminum plate, and then pouring diluted tusche, letting the mixture move between the two surfaces.
