Modern Echoes, Timeless Heritage a new group exhibition highlighting key members of the Art of the New West Movement opens at Manitou Galleries in Santa Fe on July 11. The gallery will host a special reception with many of the artists in attendance July 11 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The exhibition will hang through July 20, 2025.
Artists in the exhibition include Kim Wiggins, Jim Vogel, Howard Post, Jerry Jordan, Aaron Hazel, Liz Wolf and William Haskel. These artists are currently redefining the idea of Western art with a variety of contemporary and innovative approaches too their craft.
“This show is a testament to Manitou Galleries’ status as the premier gallery for contemporary Western art,” says Brad Richardson, who owns the gallery with his wife, Jinger. “We are celebrating the gallery’s 23rd year on the historic Santa Fe Plaza and even a longer legacy spanning over 50 years. These artists embody the spirit of the West with their evocative storytelling, masterful techniques, and visionary perspectives.”
