DESCRIPTION:Presented by RedLine Contemporary Art Center in partnership with Black Cube Nomadic Art Museum \nJoin us at RedLine on Tuesday\, September 22\, at 5:30 pm for a conversation with Mexico City-based artist Enrique López Llamas. \nBlending painting with sculpture\, installation\, video\, and performance\, López Llamas draws on art history\, memory\, humor\, and personal experience to transform familiar images and objects into uncanny\, playful encounters. \nLópez Llamas will discuss his artistic process and The Magician\, a new 25-foot-long kinetic sculpture featured in the exhibition. \nThe artist talk is presented alongside his first solo U.S. exhibition\, A million more things to keep me awake\, at Black Cube Headquarters in Englewood. \nA Q&A with Black Cube Executive Director + Chief Curator Cortney Lane Stell will follow.
