DESCRIPTION:A Year of NM Poetry\, Books\, Zines & the Sidewalk Cinema @ Still Spirits North \nFRIDAY\, NOVEMBER 6\, 2026\n5:30 PM  7:30 PM \nWet your whistle at the newest location of Still Spirits (in the North Valley) while helping us [and by “us” meaning XE Oaks and me!] celebrate a proud if not humble achievement: appearing together in the gorgeous anthology\, A Year of New Mexico Poetry\, recently released by Casa Urraca Press!  \nIt’s a giant collection featuring everyone from neighbors through the US Poet Laureate — and intended to be savored\, a-page-a-day! It’s got so many New Mexico facets that it’s hard to truly quantify! A NM Press…locally gathered and edited\, chock-full of NM-centric writing…by so many NM writers including both the known and unknown!  \nAnd as we here at the HQ love to connect artisans of many stripes in our cultural landscape\, XE Oaks and I want to cordially invite you not just to come support NM presses\, NM writers\, NM publishers\, and NM artists…but a terrific NM spirits-makers as well! After all — the best way to encourage art types from top to bottom is by loving locals\, buying their humble wares\, and keeping art dollars close to home — be it for poetry books\, zines\, art\, or hand=crafted bottles from one of NM finest distillers. And the DrunkSkull Sidewalk Cinema will be there showing you the newest!
