Yoko Kondo Konopik: On Canvas

A solo retrospective of oil on canvas abstract and minimalistic color compositions by a mature artist in her 90s, who still paints on a daily basis. Canvases range from 96″ across to smaller playful compositions where canvases are sometimes combined to make larger works.

The Marjorie Barrick Museum is on the campus of UNLV in Las Vegas. The exhibit runs through May 17, 2025. This is the first time in 10 years the museum has given the large exhibition space to a painter.
