NM State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMC) announces a bold new initiative! Our inaugural world-class juried exhibition featuring member artists opens March 1, 2025 at the internationally-renowned Turner Carroll Gallery in Santa Fe.
Three jurors — Tonya Turner-Carroll of the Turner Carroll Gallery and [CONTAINER] in Santa Fe; Marisa Sage, Director of the NMSU University Art Museum; and Barbara Stafford, independent writer, curator and speaker — reviewed artwork submitted by 172 women-identifying New Mexico artists who are NMC registry members. 33 were selected for the exhibition from cities around the state.
The exhibition serves as a fundraiser, with the added goal of bolstering public awareness both of NMC and NMWA, along with the work these organizations are doing to uplift female artistic treasures in NM, the US, and beyond.
The show is open to the public March 1–29, 2025, 10am–6pm every day.
