Richard Irwin: Perseverance, Redemption, and Hope

The Mad Hatter Gallery’s April exhibit is Perseverance, Redemption, and Hope by Richard Irwin, on view April 3-26, 2025, with an opening artist reception, April 4,5pm-8pm. The exhibit is Irwin’s first exhibit in Las Cruces, NM. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, and raised in a family of musicians, Irwin spent decades pursuing rock stardom. Primarily a self-taught artist, he began studying atmospheric landscape and abstract art in 2019, moving to New Mexico in 2021, where he started painting full-time.

Located at 221 N. Main St., Suite C, Las Cruces, NM, The Mad Hatter Gallery, which focuses exclusively on contemporary art, is open Wed.-Fri., 11am-5pm, Sat., 10am-3pm, with extended hours on First Fridays and for other events.
