Visitors will explore a diverse range of fiber-based artworks by a talented collection of local artists and will gain insight into the labor and care behind contemporary making. It connects to a wider moment in which communities are valuing local artists, tactile experiences, and meaningful human connection, offering a counterpoint to fast, digital, and disposable culture. Curator Megan Morgan is a fine artist and graphic designer based in Louisville, Colorado. She owns and operates Strange Bird Designs with her husband, Jamie, and she participates in art exhibitions throughout Colorado.
