ALTAR is a group exhibition celebrating the spirit of Dia de los Muertos through the vision of Southwestern artists. Featuring more than forty artists from New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Northern Mexico, the show presents a dynamic range of painting, sculpture, and pottery. Together, these works reflect on cultural heritage, and the traditions that continue to connect communities across the Southwest and beyond. Rooted in the tradition of Dia de los Muertos, ALTAR affirms how art can honor loved ones, preserve heritage, and keep cultural memory alive.
