Abstracted Instincts

The Gallery ABQ presents Abstracted Instincts, on view April 1–April 25, 2025. Eight artists (John Bumkens, Lisa Comfort, Jill Cooper, Erica Kane, Lysha Montiel, Martha Searle, Manuelito Tafoya, and Lisa Zawadzki) will present their work. These artists work with color and form in a process of continuous decision making to generate the final abstracted image. This is problem solving to generate the end in mind rather than trying to capture a specific image. The Featured Artist will be Evelyn Carter (Mixed Media).
