Abi Ogle is a materialsmith whose work is characterized by the familiar-made-strange. Her practice is built on the belief that art makes us more human, that materials matter, and that if we take the time to listen to the stories of others, they can change us. Through the use of unexpected materials, she explores delight, ephemerality, and memory. Ogle’s exhibition will be on display in from August 2 through September 28, 2024 in the Christine DeVitt Exhibition Hall.
