Victories and Struggles of the Santa Fe River: Paintings

Have you been fascinated by our local water source, wondering about its history, its evolution, and what is currently happening to heal and sustain it? Learn more at this art exhibit and attend the opening at one of the local organizations supporting the Santa Fe river.
Paintings are by Jessi Cross, an artist and recipient of a 2023 City of Santa Fe Artist Grant exploring issues around water and scarcity in the region. Jessi Cross developed a series of paintings inspired by interviews of multiple experts and advocates working toward the health of our city’s sacred river and all water in the region. The Santa Fe Watershed Association has generously offered to house this exhibit at their offices. Refreshments will be offered, and a Q & A with the artist will start at 6:30pm.
