Travel Altar Workshop at Bishop’s Lodge

Altars have been used for thousands of years as sacred spaces where we place symbols of power and where our prayers are focused. Whether they be towering grand structures embellished in precious stones or a simple wood slab, their purpose is the same – a bridge between our world and the divine. The Travel Altar Workshop is a hands-on tutorial in which you will be invited to bring out your creative skills, create sacred space, set an intention, and use your intuition to choose from a variety of materials to fill and adorn your altar. Carry it with you on your travels or place it in a quiet corner of your home as a physical embodiment of prayers for guidance, healing, and protection.
