“My approach to painting comes from being an architect, loving to draw, and loving color.
I use oil sticks which are like large crayons that contain oil paint. I create an underpainting which is a composition of colors, and then while it is still wet go over it with another layer of paint leaving curved linear shapes in a design that reveals the colors below. My recent work has become figurative with recognizable humans and landscape features.”
