Led by Choral Director Carmen Flórez-Mansi, this evening of uplifting music includes On This Day by Charles Strouse, arranged by Mac Huff and featuring The Santa Fe Symphony Chorus; Orpheus Singing for Oboe and String Quartet by Virko Baley with principal oboist soloist Elaine Heltman and The Santa Fe Symphony String Quartet; Minuet and Dance of the Blessed Spirits from Christopher Willibald Gluck’s opera Orfeo ed Euridice, and arranged by Mike Magatagan for string quartet and flute; Lux Aeterna by Morten Lauridsen featuring The Santa Fe Symphony Chorus and Chamber Ensemble; and God Bless America by Irving Berlin, arranged by Keith Christopher and featuring the full Santa Fe Symphony Chorus.
