The Power of Print

February 4, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This show will run from February 4 to March 6, 2022.

Somewhere in Santa Fe, tucked away on an industrial street and facing a taco shop, there is a world-class printmaking studio. With over 6000 square feet of presses, archives, and activity, Landfall Press is a crown jewel of contemporary printmaking, and for the past five decades, Jack Lemon has been at its helm. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran who went to school on the G.I. Bill and studied traditional stone lithography, Lemon became a master printer who built a legacy of uncompromising artistic collaboration, creating prints with some of the most influential artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Turner Carroll is delighted to host a selection of the collaborative prints produced by Landfall Press over the last five decades. Work by Vito Acconci, Lynda Benglis, Judy Chicago, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Chuck Close, Lesley Dill, Jim Dine, Nancy Graves, Mohka Laget, Sol LeWitt, Claes Oldenburg, Philip Pearlstein, Pat Steir, Jack Tworkov, Kara Walker, and William T. Wiley will be in the exhibition.
