Lama Jampa is the pre-eminent Buddhist meditation master and scholar in the dissemination of Tibetan culture and religion in the West. His topics cover a wide scope of Buddhism, contemporary ethical issues, and modern spirituality. Lama Jampa bestows the Initiation of Prajñāpāramitā from the lineage of Bari Lotsawa. Prajñāpāramitā means “the Perfection of (Transcendental) Wisdom” in Mahāyāna Buddhism. Prajñāpāramitā refers to this perfected way of seeing the nature of reality and to the personification of the concept in the Bodhisattva known as the “Great Mother” (Tibetan: Yum Chenmo). The word Prajñāpāramitā combines the Sanskrit words prajñā “wisdom” with pāramitā “perfection”.
