Talking Circle Ceremony with Tony Redhouse

In this ancient Native American tradition, we will honor both roles of being a good listener (follower) and speaking from the heart (leader).

Tony Redhouse chose to be a pioneer, courting melodies from distant lands and marrying them with his own Native American music which led him to work with wellness icons, like Deepak Chopra. “I hope that this eclectic blending of diverse musical expressions from around the world will inspire people to appreciate their own unique and valuable place in this Universe,” says Tony.

In this ancient Native American tradition, we will honor both roles of being a good listener (follower) and speaking from the heart (leader) through healthy communication with each other in a Talking Circle. As we sit in the sacred circle, which puts us face to face and “heart to heart,” we can practice being vulnerable, authentic and express our heart in a safe, confidential group setting to communicate.

In the Talking Circle Ceremony, each person has the privilege of holding the sacred Eagle feather, which gives them the right to speak their heart without interruption, judgement or advice from the others who are listening in the circle.

Those who are listening will learn the value of being attentive, accept another person’s perspective, and even gain wisdom from what they have heard them speak.
