Southwest Contemporary Off the Page: Vol. 6 Considers Place

Join us for a virtual event celebrating Southwest Contemporary Vol. 6 — Rooted: Poetics of Place.

While the Southwest region is geographically bound, the launch for this issue will take place off the page and over the web, enabling us to gather together—regardless of place.

Moderated by Southwest Contemporary’s arts editor, Natalie Hegert, the event brings together select authors and subjects from the issue to discuss their work and their relationships to place. In this program, we will explore art, poetry, and stories connected to the lands of the Southwest—beginning in the Chihuahuan Desert and moving west to the Mojave.
