A silver lining appears in darkness and chaos, giving us a glimpse into a brighter moment, hinting that what may seem bad at first could hide a benefit if we only look more deeply. The works in this show were created during these moments. Amidst the struggles in the studio, the artist finds moments of clarity and bliss in the new discovery or happy accident. Often seeming mistakes or blunders result in breakthroughs, new perspectives, and delightful surprises. These moments cycle through the artist’s process, manifesting hundreds of silver linings. The resulting artworks communicate these insights, and viewers feel the spark of these silver-lining moments.
