Celebrate some of Denver’s top emergent, creative voices at this second annual Rough Gems Program closing party! Join Union Hall on Earth Day during the finale of the third Rough Gems exhibition, Against Nature, to show love and gratitude to all the curators, artists, and community members who have worked hard over the past few months to bring three back-to-back art exhibitions to life. We at Union Hall are excited to continue sustainably building the Rough Gems Curatorial Program for many years to come!
Food, refreshments, and artwork are free with entry. Donation-based ticketing options are available on the Eventbrite page linked below. Union Hall is providing free tickets for residents of The Coloradan building. Reach out to info@unionhalldenver.org for a Coloradan discount code.
Rough Gems is Union Hall’s signature program, an annual open call and collaborative curatorial project showcasing the work of three Denver-based curators in a rotating pop-up exhibition format. Our fourth iteration of the program includes three curatorial teams whose exhibitions were selected through an open call for proposals.
Rough Gems reflects our commitment to the advancement of emerging voices within curatorial practice. The program supports local, emerging curators and artists by providing equitable stipends, mentorship, and networking opportunities while diversifying the voices responsible for exhibition-making.
