Opening: Traverse

Traverse delves into the notions of journey and identity in a landscape, fusing performance and video work to investigate the relationship between the environment and one’s self. In dialogue with the landscape, artists use a symbolic and physical passage to rewrite a narrative, question ideologies, evince transformation, and shift perspective. The exhibition is part of Denver’s Month of Video and features work by Santiago Echecverry, Chrissy Espinoza, Annette Isham, and Jenna Maurice.

See Traverse during the public opening reception on Thursday, July 13, 6-8 pm. Light refreshments will be provided; free and open to all.

Union Hall is open for regular gallery hours Wednesday through Saturday, 12-6 pm. Traverse closes on September 9, 2023.
