Opening: The Mortal Coil

Join us on February 28 from 5:00–7:00 pm for the opening reception of The Mortal Coil, a group exhibition of sgraffito vases by Ekin Balcıoğlu and Max Massey and ceramic tile vignettes by Em Kettner. Historically, painting, sculpture, and printmaking have been the protagonists of humanity’s visual culture. Kettner and Balcıoğlu and Massey’s works demonstrate how craft, often relegated to the far corner of art history, has long been responsible for the objects that inform our understanding of material culture and art.
