Soul Purpose
On view: June 20–July 12, 2025
Opening reception: June 20, 6:00–9:00 pm
Bitfactory Gallery presents Soul Purpose, an exhibition featuring bold abstract expressionist paintings by artists Vicki Christensen, Pamela Hake and Karen Valliant. As kindred spirits, they align in their compulsion to create and in the idea that art is an essential element, adding true meaning to their lives. The works in this show are also in agreement, sharing an instinctive, emotive style that is unstructured yet restrained, dark and light, coming together as a dramatic yet harmonious whole. The public is invited to an opening reception on June 20, 6-9 p.m., and to view the show during regular business hours, including First Friday, July 4, 6-9 p.m.
Soul Purpose acknowledges that the creative process helps these artists move through the bad times and allows them to feel exceptionally alive in the good times. Additionally, it speaks to the importance of fostering relationships with fellow artists and how those friendships enhance the experience of making art.
Bitfactory Gallery is located at 851 Santa Fe Drive in the heart of Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe.
