Faust Galleries is pleased to announce the opening of Pathways, a new exhibition of works by artist Ron Rovner, debuting on October 17, 2025, at the gallery’s Santa Fe location, with a special reception from 5:00–7:00 pm. This highly anticipated show marks a significant evolution in Rovner’s artistic journey, unveiling a fresh series that explores rhythm, balance and harmony through abstract form.

“This new body of work represents a departure from my previous work, which was based on the musical scale and highly regimented,” says Rovner. “These new pieces are freer and much looser in concept, but the basic tenets of balance, rhythm and harmony still apply. The blocks of solid color are evocative of the palette of the Southwestern deserts, through which the highly abstracted figurative elements meander, suggesting pathways through the arid desertscape.”

Originally trained as a stained-glass artist, Ron Rovner has long been recognized for his ability to translate the vibrant geometric compositions of that medium into richly textured paintings. Working with acrylic, charcoal, pastel, and sepia ink on canvas, panel, and paper, Rovner’s works balance contrasting materials, textures, and forms to create a sense of visual music.
