Experience the vibrant intersection of diverse inspirations in Erin Currier’s solo show, Cave Temples & Compañeros, at Blue Rain Gallery in Santa Fe, running from June 28 to July 13, 2024. Currier’s latest collection celebrates the indomitable human spirit by exploring the inspirations and creative processes of various cultural icons, from Italian Modernist poets to Argentine tango dancers and Tibetan Buddhism. Her signature collage work, incorporating found objects, adds dimension and texture to her paintings, highlighting the unifying force of inspiration. Featured pieces include homages to Umberto Saba, Eugenio Montale, Giuseppe Ungaretti, and Carlos Gardel, as well as works inspired by the Buddhist cave temples of Ajanta, India.
