Opening: Movers and Shakers – Artists Who Teach, Lead, and Inspire

Please join us for our art opening and fundraiser for Movers and Shakers – Artists Who Teach, Lead, and Inspire, curated by Regina Held. From painting to photography, quilts and shrines by 16 New Mexico artists who give back to the community. 40% of each art sale is tax deductible and goes to the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation supporting our patients’ non-medical needs while they are receiving treatment. Free event and free parking.

Live music by two amazing sets of musicians in collaboration with the Albuquerque Folk Festival: The Central Avenue String Band and Singer/songwriter Janice Belfower and friends!

Food truck, door prizes and a chance to vote for your favorite artist for the “People’s Choice Award.”

Participating artists: Laura Balombini, Graham Bowkett, Dennis Chamberlain, Carol Chamberland, Deb Evans, John Gilbert, J. Waid Griffin, Thomas Christopher Haag, Debbie Jones, Susan Lemmon, Paulina Lopez, Marcia Rackstraw, Sunny Redmond, Tina Stallard, Jonathan Stone and Tatulli, as well as new works by gallery artists Robert Anderson, Travis Black, David Estes, Cecilia Jaramillo and Dan Little.

The art exhibition runs through May 16, 2025. After the public reception, gallery visits are by appointment only, regina@gallerywithacause.org
