Opening: Jack Craft: Horizontal Yellow

Kouri + Corrao is galvanized to announce Horizontal Yellow, Texas-based interdisciplinary artist Jack Craft’s second solo show with the gallery. Horizontal Yellow focuses on Craft’s connection to the Great Plains, where he was born and continues to live with his family on a commercial cattle ranch. Craft’s artwork consists of solid iron sculptures and prints that are made utilizing his sculpture as a tool to create abstract images that reflect the mass and the dimensions of the sculpture. Drawn to the endless horizon, Craft’s new body of work focuses on the absence more than the presence of his homeland.
