“Collusions – The Collaborative Work of Craig Cully and Kelly Leslie” is a creative fusion of two distinct artistic practices and artistic personalities. Cully is a painter and Leslie is a graphic designer, and both are educators. Cully is a Professor of
Painting and Drawing at NMSU and Leslie is an Associate Professor of Illustration, Design, and Animation at the University of Arizona. “Collusions” will be on exhibit Feb. 5-Feb. 28, with an artist reception on Fri., Feb. 7, 5-8 pm.
In addition to the “Collusions” exhibit, The Mad Hatter Gallery will host “Where Art and Ekphrastic Poetry Meet,” a reception for local poets who have created poems based on the art in the “Collusions” exhibit. The reception is open to the public and will be held on Sun., Feb. 23, 1-3 pm at The Mad Hatter Gallery.
The Mad Hatter Gallery is open Wed.-Fri., 11 am-5 pm, Sat., 10 am-3 pm, with extended hours for receptions and other events.
