Bob Read’s Solo exhibition of paintings and sculptures opens November 16. On view will be over twenty-five works from both current & past series.

The creative process begins early in life. For me, scribbling, making mud figures, drawing colorful children with big heads and tiny bodies was a common experience. At a very young age, oil spills on pavement with their light-catching colors of blacks, reds, greens and blues swirling around, intrigued me. That was early on. Creating art over time changes and this has been a long, enjoyable journey. These paintings are a continuation of my admiration of color and a child-like attitude of design and perspective.
