Terran Last Gun and Deborah Sipple

Opening Reception, Saturday, September 18, 2021, 4-6 pm

Near Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Join Gallery Hózhó at Hotel Chaco for the opening of Terran Last Gun and Deborah Sipple’s show from 4 to 6 pm on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Stop by and take in the experience of their works in person!

Last Gun, a Piikani (Blackfeet) citizen, is a visual artist who primarily works with printmaking and the technique of serigraphy to produce fine original prints. Last Gun’s work considers nature, the cosmos, cultural narratives, and recollections in geometric forms, depicted in vibrant color harmonies.

Sipple, a mixed media abstract artist, studied drawing, painting, and sculpture. When the processes began to affect her health, she turned to color pencils as a less toxic alternative. Sipple’s intuitive process leads to drawings with depth, movement, light, and color. Layering many different tones, the pencils look almost like watercolor, with abstract forms that are almost sculptural to form brightly colored dreamscapes.
