How do you tell a story that isn’t yours? How can you truly embody the truth, the feeling, and the emotion behind a personal experience? Keshet Arts & Justice Initiatives (AJI) invites you to a different type of storytelling: Movement for Mercy.
Since 1997, Keshet has been providing daily dance programming for New Mexico’s incarcerated and paroling youth via its M3 Program (Movement + Mentorship = Metamorphosis). Guided by choreography, voice, and vision from currently and previously incarcerated artists, created both inside and outside of prison walls, Keshet Company Members are joined by M3 Teaching Faculty and Keshet’s Arts & Justice Youth Leaders to bring this latest iteration of Movement for Mercy to the stage.
Join us Friday, March 17, at 6:30 pm, or Saturday, March 18 at 6:30 pm.
