Mountain of the Watchful Heart

Renowned Australian artist Jo Bertini makes her New Mexico debut at the Blumenschein Museum in Taos on May 27. Mountain of the Watchful Heart opening reception from 5-7pm featuring an artist talk and music performance by partner Thomas Studer who has created new music especially for the exhibition.

Inspired by extensive research into the dynamic Blumenschein family and the Taos Society of Artists, Jo Bertini has created a series of dazzling landscapes and figurative works to provide her response to the long and rich history of Taos area artists and celebrate the incredible beauty of our local region. The exhibition runs from May 27-July 31.
