An experimental documentary shot on 16mm film and video while riding with three long-haul female truck drivers around the Southwest USA. Filmmaker Amy Reid created the feature-length film while acting as a crew of one, independently filming, recording sound, editing, and raising funds to complete the project. Driving thousands of miles across the United States, Long Haulers weaves together the stories and voices of three female long-haul truckers to understand who they are and what keeps them trucking.
