Kat O’Connor: Bits

Bits explores horseback riding from the rider’s perspective. The camaraderie between riders, the relationship between horse and rider. Figures move by like film, occasionally coming close enough to make some type of contact, more frequently watching from a distance. Shadows make curious patterns that extend figures and create an abstract motion. Point of view is elevated, making direct contact unlikely.
