Into the Skin closes out the exhibition, Transnavigation, with embodied performances from Saline Conjure 666, Amayas, Geo Conjure, and one other surprise performer. These drag performances invite folks to experience moments in the body, feeling the euphoria, grief, joy, despair, experimentation, and pride of living in a gorgeous and hostile world.
Refreshments will be provided.
Cash tips for performers encouraged.
For guests under 16 years old, a parent or guardian is required to attend.
RSVP for free on Eventbrite.
Curated by Rae Richards, Transnavigation: Coming Into the Body as Home, is the first all jewelry show in Union Hall’s space—one that challenges conventional notions of what jewelry means. Learn more at UnionHallDenver.org.
Transnavigation will be on view at Union Hall through Saturday, February 8th. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 12 – 6pm. No appointment is required.
