Duhon James: Above, I’ll watch you from Here

James’ show at Hecho a Mano will feature monoprints and linoleum block prints that are hand pressed with a wooden spoon, and draw on Diné imagery like the cross-shaped stars that are often used in Navajo rugs. The block prints also feature another central theme of James’ work: UFOs and aliens.

Above, I’ll watch you from Here will open at Hecho a Mano on Friday, July 28, and will be on view through August 21.
