Drawing Your Breath mindful art workshop with Katie Hall

Katie Hall is a licensed art therapist and counselor with a private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. During this hands-on art exercise, she will lead you into deeper states of relaxation by helping to calm and focus the mind. She will be guiding you to learn more about your internal experience using mindfulness and art-making.
After a short demo, participants will have a chance to make their own art together. Recommended art materials include pastels, watercolors, and larger watercolor paper if possible but small drawing paper is fine too. Otherwise, any art materials you enjoy or have on hand will work for this process.
No prior art experience is necessary. This process is more about the experience of getting in touch with the body rather than the end product. Join us for a relaxing and mindful art experience.
