Creatives of all skill levels are invited to join artist, curator, and facilitator Nathan Storey to learn about queer histories and methodologies of collage and assemblage during Ruins Collage Workshop presented by UNDERTOW EDITIONS. Aligned with Union Hall’s current exhibition exhibition, Ruins: Performing Queer History, workshop participants will also create multi-layered collages from LGBTQ+ materials and iconography.
Materials will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring materials of your own.
Space for this workshop is limited to the first 30 registrants.
Please RSVP on Union Hall’s website.
UNDERTOW is an artist-run press supporting queer artists’ printed matter and ephemera. Collaborating with emerging, mid-career, and established artists, UNDERTOW produces books, zines, editions, and other ephemera such as posters, postcards, and matchboxes. Established in the summer of 2024 by Nathan Storey, UNDERTOW is a platform for historically underrepresented visual artists who explore, cultivate, and expand queer print culture.
UNDERTOW has a small, experimental workshop adjacent to The People’s Crossing at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado.
