Join us this Thursday, August 22 for an artist talk by Colorado-based artist Ana María Hernando. Hernando, born in Argentina, is interested in making the invisible visible and often celebrates the lives and community of Latina women through immersive fiber installations.
Hernando will speak about her site-specific installation My Longing Doesn’t Quiet / Mi añoranza no se calla, on view through September 15, 2024 at Rubey Park and Sister Cities Plaza in downtown Aspen.
This installation and artist talk is presented by the City of Aspen and the Red Brick Center for the Arts.
