Artist Reception: 8 Stone Sculptors In The Landscape

Please join us for a contemporary survey of stone sculpture in Northern New Mexico

Curated and hosted by Taos Sculptor TJ Mabrey, TJ recognized a kinship of form and a common creative approach, as all are direct carvers. Several also further develop the craft by working as educators or mentors, an important lineage in what is often a solitary endeavor. We all stand on the shoulders of those who showed us how to swing the hammer. Brian Barreto will be carving on site on Saturday, October 21. The exhibition will be held in both the indoor gallery as well as the outdoor studio and grounds out back.
