Adventures in Art Restoration

Join the New Mexico State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts for a fun, informative one-hour Zoom session titled:

“Adventures in Art Restoration” hosted by Matthew Horowitz

Matthew Horowitz is President and Conservator of Paintings at Revive Art Restoration here in Santa Fe.

Revive Art Restoration specializes in the restoration and conservation of historic and contemporary paintings, and various objects. Matthew opened the doors of Revive Art Restoration on April 1, 2016 and realized his dream. He goes to work each morning with a smile on his face and the satisfaction of knowing he will make art owners happy each day.

During this presentation, Matthew will provide his expertise in the fascinating area of art restoration. Some of the topics will include:

1) Growing up in the Santa Fe art world;

2) An overview of restoration processes;

3) Why I drive a hearse AKA Fun stories of starting a business in Santa Fe!
