The festival’s opening day is September 6 and runs through September 17.
Since 1974, Taos Fall Arts Festival has celebrated the visual arts and artists in Taos County, encouraged the growth of emerging artists, and created an event where Taos artists can come together to exhibit and market their works for the delight and appreciation of the larger community.
The main event is an exhibition held in the Town of Taos facilities on Civic Plaza Drive, Don Fernando and Coronado Halls. More than 200 artists will be presented in 2023. Local galleries and other museums present special events during each Fall Arts Festival. In 2023 Michael Hearne’s Big Barn Dance will happen during the festival in Kit Carson Park. This is a free event. Please visit the website for more information.
