RedLine Contemporary Art Center is thrilled to announce the return of 48 Hours of Socially Engaged Art & Conversation, a free two-day summit and celebration that engages cultural organizations, non-profits, artists, and individuals to share their expertise on cultural responsiveness, social responsibility, and collective leadership.
This year’s 48 Hours summit will take place on Friday, August 16, from 8:30 am to 9 pm and on Saturday, August 17, from 9 am to 10 pm, at RedLine Contemporary Art Center.
Programming includes ten-minute talks, hands-on workshops, performances, socially engaged art projects, film screenings, a block party, the opening reception for The Other Side of the Tracks exhibition, and much more.
The event is free and open to the public. There will be coffee, pastries, food trucks, breakfast burritos, and other catered meals throughout the event.
