In 2025, SFAI will celebrate its 40th anniversary, a transformational moment. We are seeking a dynamic Executive Director to refresh and reimagine our residency program and community-engaged arts events, strengthen our operations, and position SFAI as a leading voice at the intersection of art and social justice locally, nationally, and internationally. The SFAI Executive Director shapes the organizational vision, values, and culture; sets and executes strategy; drives fundraising efforts and diversifies funding streams; manages the budget; engages community partners, including donors; supervises the program, fund development, and operations staff and consultants; and collaborates with the Board of Trustees in forward thinking to ensure the stability, and sustainability of the organization.
Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000
