The Roswell Artist-in-Residency (RAiR) Program is currently accepting applications for our year-long, fully supported artist residency in Roswell, New Mexico. Start dates of the six annual residencies are staggered throughout the year. The residency provides each artist with a comfortable three-bedroom house with an attached 600 square ft studio with utilities paid plus a stipend of $1100/month for residents. A $250/month materials stipend is also generously provided by the Hammersley Foundation. We are a family-friendly residency — artists with partners and families receive $100 for partners and each child living on the compound. Artists are offered a solo exhibition at the Roswell Museum during their residency.
