Union Hall is seeking a Chief Curator, who will continue to establish Union Hall as an important cultural leader in Denver and beyond, by bringing poignant, thought-provoking conversations to Denver through exhibitions and programming and maintaining strong relationships with the creative community (locally + nationally).
This is a part-time, flexible position, contracted for an average of 20 hours/week on an ongoing basis.
Union Hall is seeking a multi-tasker who is able to stay on top of multiple projects, adaptable to changing priorities, and proactive. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for all exhibition curation, communication with artists and guests curators, as well as representation in the arts community of Denver.
Our curatorial program is focused on experimental and engaging exhibitions utilizing new mediums and technology, while featuring equitable exhibition demographics with underrepresented artists and curators. In addition, Union Hall is a multi-purpose, flexible space that welcomes interdisciplinary events of all kinds, including performances, film screenings, live music, workshops, yoga, and more. As a culture concierge, Union Hall provides locals and visitors with information and recommendations on creative and cultural events around the city, fostering engagement in the robust cultural ecosystem in both Denver and Colorado and aiming to be a true partner to all venues for arts and culture throughout the city.
