The Roswell Museum inspires discovery, creativity, and cultural understanding of the American Southwest and the greater community. The museum is known for its unparalleled collections that include modern works from the Taos and Santa Fe art colonies, contemporary art of New Mexico, American West artifacts, and the Goddard Rocketry Collection. The museum presents lectures, film series, family art days, festivals, planetarium shows, classes, and workshops. This 50,000-square-foot facility includes twelve galleries dedicated to the exhibition of art and history, the Patricia Lubben Bassett Art Education Center, and the Robert H. Goddard Planetarium.
