Glasstire is a nonprofit online publication covering visual art in Texas. In addition to publishing reviews, interviews, essays, videos, and podcasts, Glasstire publishes daily news reports covering art happenings throughout the state. The website also hosts regional event listings and a robust classifieds section, which features open calls, job listings, residency and grant opportunities, and more. Since its founding in 2001, Glasstire has been the journal of record and the connective tissue for the Texas visual art community, and proudly promotes the state's art and artists to a local, national, and international audience.
